Position Summary:
MedStar Health Internal Medicine
The MedStar Health Internal Medicine Residency Program in Baltimore seeks both aspiring and experienced educators to join our team! We are a large residency program (150 learners) that spans multiple MedStar hospitals in the Baltimore region and serves our local communities. We are looking for physicians who are passionate about teaching the next generation of physicians and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient patient care in the inpatient setting. Great candidates should possess excellent teaching and communication skills and have an interest in scholarly activities and lifelong learning. Opportunities for growth and development in program leadership may be available.
Requires MD degree or equivalent plus three years of ABIM-recognized Internal Medical residency, valid Maryland medical license, and American Board certification (or eligibility) in Internal Medicine. Interest in quality improvement, POCUS, and curriculum development is a plus.
This is a daytime position with hours that vary based on clinical duties and anticipate that up to 100% of the shifts will be on a teaching team. This position comes with a Georgetown University School of Medicine academic appointment. Visa sponsorship considered. Primary work location either MedStar Union Memorial Hospital or MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. This job is in Baltimore, MD, with MedStar Health, Inc.
