Position Summary:

MedStar Washington Hospital Center Academic Hospitalist

MedStar Washington Hospital Center, the largest private teaching hospital in Washington, D.C., is seeking academic hospitalists to be part of the section of General Internal Medicine. Responsibilities include admitting and managing patients from the general medicine faculty practice and resident continuity clinic, providing medical consultation on the non-medical services, and serving as teaching attending on the inpatient medical service. Positions can be customized for hospitalists with experience or interest in quality improvement and medical education.

Candidates should be board-certified in Internal Medicine. Teaching experience is desirable.
