Position Summary:

MedStar Union Memorial Hospital (MUMH) is a 223-bed, acute care teaching hospital that is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join their team. This position will primarily be based at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, sharing call with five other members of the team. The Cardiac team, in addition to routine cardiac surgical procedures, performs the following: minimally invasive mitral and aortic valve surgeries, TAVRs, MitraClips, and Tendyne MVRs. Vascular surgeons perform several transcatheter aortic procedures, carotid endarterectomy, and transcatheter carotid revascularizations. MedStar Washington Hospital Center is a busy cardiovascular program specializing in VADs, ECMOs, heart transplants, aortic surgeries, TEVARs, EVARs, and TCARs. In addition, MedStar Washington Hospital Center also has a busy cath lab performing over 500 transcatheter procedures annually.
