MedStar Medical Group is pleased to announce an opening on our cardiology team in the Baltimore, Maryland, area. We are recruiting for a full-time Cardiologist with advanced echo training to support our MedStar Union Memorial Hospital (MUMH), MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital (MGSH), and MedStar Harbor Hospital (MHH) facilities, offering a collaborative team environment and Monday through Friday flexible schedules.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • 30% advanced echo and 70% general cardiology
  • Providing "anchoring" support (reading at MUMH) one day per week
  • Providing TEE coverage 0.5 days/week in support of growing structural heart program
  • Providing leadership to echo lab at MHH, allowing us to bring the MHH echo lab into closer alignment with MUMH
  • Integrating QI process at MHH with MUMH/MGSH
  • Overseeing introduction of new technology at MHH
  • Overseeing introduction of new techniques at MHH (echo contrast)
  • Assisting with data-mining efforts at MHH
  • Supporting Structural Heart Program
  • Supporting EP Program
