Chair of Critical Care Medicine Opportunity at MedStar Washington Hospital Center
MedStar Health is seeking a Chair of Critical Care Medicine to provide clinical and operational leadership of the Critical Care Medicine program at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. MedStar Washington Hospital Center is the flagship of our Critical Care service line and has over 40 full-time physicians and over 60 advanced practice practitioners covering 130 ICU beds in a complex, multispecialty ICU practice that includes Medical, Surgical/Trauma, Neuro, Cardiac, and CV Surgical. Our academic mission includes supporting two critical care fellowship programs and a MedStar Georgetown University School of Medicine student clerkship, as well as providing critical care education for residents from multiple programs through ICU rotations, multiple didactic formats, and clinical research.
We are seeking a Chair who will be an engaging, committed leader who will continue to grow and uphold our continuously evolving department while setting a robust example of leadership at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Qualified candidates should have experience with leadership in clinical care, education, and research with preferably more than eight years of diverse clinical practice. Candidates should also excel in administrative leadership in collaboration with hospital leaders and staff.
