MedStar Health is pleased to announce an opening as Director of Cardiac CT and MRI at the MedStar Washington Hospital Center, which serves as the hub for heart and vascular care in the Washington, D.C., region. We are seeking a full-time cardiologist with CT and MRI experience to lead our cardiac CT/MR section. We perform over 1500 cardiac MRIs per year and >2000 cardiac CTs. The applicant will join an academic faculty involved in high-end clinical care in a large heart and vascular center performing tertiary cardiovascular care, including structural heart interventions, heart transplantation, and LVAD implantations, as well as complex EP and surgical procedures. Lastly, the Center serves as a hub for a large cardiovascular disease fellowship with advanced fellowships in all cardiovascular specialties, including cardiac imaging. A faculty appointment at Georgetown University is obtained by all faculty.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI experience.
Requirements:
- Board-eligible/board-certified in Cardiology.
- Board-eligible/board-certified in Echo, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI.
- Expertise in cardiac CT and MRI, as well as echocardiography, including transesophageal echocardiography.
- Superior training, background, and interpersonal skills.
