MedStar Emergency Physicians (MEP), part of MedStar Medical Group, is composed of nine top-tier emergency departments in the mid-Atlantic region. We are committed to practicing state-of-the-art, patient-first emergency care and furthering our specialty through the development of innovative programs in emergency preparedness, information technology, transport medicine, event medicine, emergency ultrasound, critical care, sports medicine, and healthcare policy.

At MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, we provide comprehensive, technology-based surgical services, offering the latest, most innovative treatment for patients with a wide range of medical conditions. Our distinguished specialty service lines include medicine, oncology, bariatrics, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, neonatal intensive care, behavioral health, plastic/reconstructive surgery, and ambulatory services.

Accredited by The Joint Commission, MedStar Franklin Square is certified as a Primary Stroke Center and is working on expanding into a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Comprehensive Neurovascular Center.
