Endocrinologist - MedStar Health - MedStar Georgetown University Hospital

Position Summary:

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism is seeking a qualified endocrinologist to join our well-established academic Endocrinology practice in Washington, D.C., at 3800 Reservoir Road NW. This position offers you the opportunity to practice with a dedicated and highly trained staff of six attending physicians. It is also a home to the outpatient continuity clinics for our combined Endocrinology fellowship training program with MedStar Washington Hospital Center.

In this setting, the individual selected will:
  • have their own panel of patients in our outpatient suite;
  • rotate as an attending on the inpatient Endocrinology consult service;
  • be involved in precepting and teaching of fellows, residents, and students as a faculty member of the Endocrinology training program;
  • have the opportunity to engage with the Georgetown University School of Medicine's academic mission, including faculty development programs;
  • be connected with and have access to MedStar's robust opportunities for supported scholarly activity.
