Faculty Position, Department of Family Medicine, Vacancy

The Department of Family Medicine (familymedicine.georgetown.edu) at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking a full-time physician.

This position includes:
  • 0.6 clinical time
  • 0.1 clinical administrative time at MedStar Health Family Medicine at Spring Valley
  • 0.1 residency precepting at the MedStar Health/Georgetown-Washington Hospital Center Family Medicine Residency Program
  • 0.2 medical student education responsibilities as the Assistant Clerkship Director at Georgetown University School of Medicine

This faculty position will collaborate with the Director of Medical Student Education, Residency Program Director, and the Department Chair for direction of educational programming, grant-funding initiatives, and collaborative and interprofessional projects for residents and students. Opportunities exist to precept residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
