Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with urgent care or emergency medicine experience for our locations in Washington, D.C.: Adams Morgan and Capitol Hill. MedStar UrgentCare is an entity within MedStar Health that has 14 locations throughout Northern Virginia, D.C., and Maryland. These are busy, well-equipped walk-in urgent care centers that see patients of all ages and varying acuity levels.

As an independent provider, you will have excellent opportunities to strengthen your expertise and procedural skills, as well as advance your career. You must be licensed or eligible for a license and have completed an accredited program in emergency or family medicine. Typical procedures may include suturing, fracture care/splinting, reading wet x-rays, and interpreting EKGs.
