Position Summary:

MedStar Medical Group Anesthesiology (MMGA) is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist, fellowship-trained or with significant experience in regional anesthesia and acute pain medicine, to join our group at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital (MGUH). MedStar Georgetown is a not-for-profit, acute care teaching and research hospital with 609 beds located in northwest Washington, D.C. MedStar Georgetown's centers of excellence include neurosciences, transplants, cancer, and gastroenterology. We have a growing regional anesthesia practice and a flourishing Acute Pain Service (APS). Our team places and manages epidural and perineural catheters for acute postoperative pain with plans to provide a home catheter program in the near future. In addition to providing anesthesia for a wide variety of cases, you will work with our growing group of physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses to support and grow this aspect of our practice.
