Position Summary:
The MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute consists of ten hospitals operated by MedStar Health with the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center as its research base. The practice based at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center will focus on bread-and-butter hematology/oncology with treatment of a wide variety of cancers. MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is a community-based, academic hospital that is a leader in treating cancerous and non-cancerous tumors with CyberKnife®. The incoming physician will be a part of the multidisciplinary team of breast surgeons, medical oncologists, hematologists/oncologists, radiation oncologists, and genetic counselors to provide outstanding care to patients in the community. Requirements:
- Degree of MD or DO with subspecialty training and certification in Hematology and Oncology
- American Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Valid and unrestricted Maryland medical license
