Hospital Medicine Physician Assistant - Nights

Position Summary:

As a Physician Assistant (inpatient), perform a variety of duties such as taking medical histories and physicals, as well as provide care to assigned inpatients. Assess and diagnose inpatients and document findings. Write medical orders and/or prescriptions and make clinical decisions relative to patient management through collaboration with physicians. Communicate any clinical change in patient status with attending physicians.  Facilitate patient admission, including assessment, orders, medication reconciliation, and discussion with attending physicians.  Facilitate patient flow with attention to triage.  Participate in quality assurance and risk management. Comply with applicable federal and state regulations and requirements, as well as accreditation requirements, regulating the practice of medicine in Maryland.
