MedStar is seeking an experienced physician to join our Infectious Disease department. This position will mainly focus on infectious disease inpatient and outpatient consults. The Infectious Disease physician will also work in the HIV clinic, as well as helping manage patients in the Wound Healing Institute. If interested, the physician can treat hepatitis C as well. They will also provide input to the Infection Prevention Program and the Antibiotic Stewardship Program at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. There is also an opportunity to round with residents from the Internal Medicine program and give lectures.
