We are looking for a nurse practitioner to join our Orthopedic Surgery (Foot & Ankle) team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. This provider will be supporting both Dr. Cooper and Dr. Casscells. We are one of the largest groups of orthopedic subspecialists in the Washington, D.C., area and are a prime referral center for some of the most complex cases. No matter how simple or complex the condition, our team of fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons have the expertise to help.

The ideal candidate will have nursing experience and be comfortable working in a surgery setting. This position deals with both inpatients and outpatients. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday.

Need to be an acute care nurse practitioner for this role. Cannot be a family nurse practitioner as there are inpatient responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education/Training: Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
