We are looking for a physician assistant to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital. We are the region's largest acute rehabilitation hospital and are responsible for treating some of the nation's most complex cases, due to our research partnership with Georgetown University School of Medicine, our highly specialized physicians, and our continued use of the latest technology. We are prepared to treat any injury.
This role will have be primarily inpatient with about 10% of the responsibilities being outpatient. This physician assistant will be responsible for managing patients' medical and rehab needs in the inpatient setting and assist hospital discharge follow-ups in the outpatient setting.
The shifts will be Monday through Friday, day shift with no nights, weekends or call and is a salaried position.
This provider will be the sole APP in the role but will have interactions with the larger rehab team day to day.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a cardiac or inpatient setting.

- Education/Training: Graduate from an accredited physician assistant program.
- Experience: The ideal candidate will have experience in a cardiac or inpatient setting.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
