We are looking for a qualified nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our growing team of 13 highly skilled advanced practice providers. We offer a supportive team environment with hands-on training from our surgeons, residents, and fellow APPs. The provider in this role will be first assisting in ortho surgery cases, as well as work in post-op care in the inpatient setting.
Job Summary:
- First assist in orthopedic surgery, including hip and knee replacement, shoulder and elbow, spine, and foot and ankle.

Perioperative patient care:
- Ordering and interpreting labs.
- Admission history and physicals.
- Inpatient rounding and discharge completions.
This is a full-time position and will consist of four 10-hour shifts. No weekends, holidays, or nights.
NPs will be required to have completed the RN first assist course to be considered. You must be an ACNP or PA to be considered for the role. We cannot accept FNPs.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education/Training: Graduate from an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
