MedStar Medical Group is seeking a full-time General Internist or Family Physician to join the Section of General Internal Medicine at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore Maryland. MedStar Union Memorial Hospital is a core teaching site for the MedStar Health Internal Medicine Residency Program, one of the largest Internal Medicine residency training programs in the country. 

This is an academic position primarily centered in a resident-run ambulatory teaching clinic. Responsibilities include resident precepting in the ambulatory setting, direct teaching, curriculum development, and mentorship of residents. Experience in medical education is a plus. Opportunities for those who are interested in assuming a leadership role in the section's ambulatory education activities or residency program exist. Candidates should be board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. This position comes with the expectation of an academic rank at the Georgetown University School of Medicine.
