We are looking for a Geriatric physician to join our well-established house call program in Washington, D.C. The MedStar House Call Program (MHCP) is one of the largest house call programs in the D.C. region and one of a few practices that employ an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and social workers to address the complex and compelling needs of elderly patients and their families. We bring the best of care to the home environment, offering tailored treatment that takes the home environment and the capacity of family caregivers into consideration. Our program strives to promote continuity of care as our physicians also care for our MedStar House Call Program patients in the hospital setting. Our mission is to promote the health and dignity for our frail elders. This position offers you the opportunity to practice with a dedicated team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and social workers. Work settings include house calls in D.C., inpatient rounding, consultant services, and supervision of residents. Light call 1:4. Additional teaching opportunities for interested faculty.

Candidates must be board-certified or eligible in Internal medicine. Family medicine background considered. Fellowship-trained Geriatrician preferred.
