The MedStar Medical Group Radiology practice is seeking an advanced practice provider to join our growing practice at MedStar Washington Hospital Center (MWHC). A wide range of interventional procedures are performed at MedStar Washington Hospital Center ranging from basic to complex. The APP will be responsible for providing pre- and post-procedural evaluation and management for inpatients and outpatients undergoing IR procedures and performing minor image-guided procedures under supervision of an interventional radiologist.
The successful candidate will be joining a larger MedStar interventional practice with the entire group sharing a common administration and with collaborative programs in quality and practice building.
Experience in hospital-based acute care practice is preferred and D.C. license is required.
- Schedule: Four 10-hour days. No call. No weekends.
- Responsibilities: Inpatient and outpatient; clinic, consults, and procedures; paracentesis; thoracentesis; and varieties of vascular access procedures (training available).
