Position Summary:

MedStar PromptCare is currently seeking a Regional Lead Advanced Practice Clinician with urgent care or emergency medicine experience for our D.C. and MD region locations.

Our urgent care sites are busy, well-equipped centers that handle acute-care walk-in patients/cases. You will have excellent opportunities to strengthen your expertise clinically, as well as advance your career in leadership. You must be licensed or eligible for licensure in D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Typical clinical procedures may include suturing, fracture care/splinting, reading wet x-rays, and interpreting EKGs.

As a leader, you will be expected to conduct various training courses, attend leadership meetings, conduct chart reviews, evaluate safety events and coaching, assist with annual reviews, ands assist with the hiring and training of new APCs. A minimum of 3 years of working in urgent care or emergency medicine as an APC is required, and closely related administrative experience is desired.
