We are looking for an Internal Medicine/Pediatrics physician to join our well-established academic primary care practice in Washington, D.C. This position offers you the opportunity to practice with a dedicated and highly trained staff of five Medicine/Pediatrics attending physicians. It is also home to the outpatient continuity clinic for our Medicine/Pediatric residency program.
In this outpatient setting, the individual selected will:
- have their own panel of patients in our newly renovated outpatient suite.
- be involved in precepting and teaching of residents and students as a core faculty member of the Medicine/Pediatrics residency program.
- have the opportunity to engage with the Georgetown University School of Medicine's academic mission and faculty development.
- be connected and have access to MedStar's robust opportunities for supported scholarly activity.
This role would involve treating a mix of adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients, including newborns. There will be approximately four hours dedicated for administrative time each week as well.
