The Nephrology Section at MedStar Washington Hospital Center seeks a full-time physician. MedStar Washington Hospital Center is an 800-bed hospital and the largest in Washington, D.C., and the Nephrology Section is looking to expand. The patient population is varied and requires well-rounded expertise ranging from the outpatient management of CKD, ESRD, and post-transplant patients to the inpatient evaluation and treatment of complex medical and surgical patients. We provide inpatient HD, PD, CRRT, and apheresis support. Teaching abilities are required, as the nephrology attendings work closely with internal medicine residents and other learners. Opportunities for specialized clinics, clinical research, and an academic affiliation with Georgetown University Medical School are available. Visa support is possible.

Applicants must have a medical degree, completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine, fellowship training in Nephrology, and a license to practice medicine in Washington, D.C., or the ability to obtain.
