Position Summary:

MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is seeking a full-time Nurse Midwife.

Job Details:
  • Provides comprehensive, primary health care to a select population of essentially healthy women. 
  • Participates in the care of women with medical complications in collaboration with obstetricians and gynecologists. 
  • Assumes responsibility for a caseload of obstetrical and gynecological patients selected according to midwifery practice protocols.

Qualifications:
  • EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited school of Nurse-Midwifery.
  • EXPERIENCE: 1 year of clinical nurse midwife experience.
  • LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: ACNM or ACC certification. License in the state of Maryland. CPR certification.
  • SKILLS: Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
