Nurse Practitioner - Pre-Anesthesia Testing

Position Summary:
MedStar Medical Group Anesthesia is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for their Pre-Anesthesia Testing Department at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. The Provider shall conduct pre-operative/pre-anesthesia patient review of systems and/or history and physical on any patient undergoing anesthesia; order, review, and communicate findings appropriately of required laboratory tests, diagnostics tests, and physical assessments; and conduct appropriate patient education activities and interventions related to perioperative care. These clinical functions performed under and in collaboration with the general medical directions of MedStar Medical Group and the specific medical directors of Pre Anesthesia Testing of Washington Hospital Center.As an MMG Anesthesiology employee, you can expect:
