Position Summary:

Orthopaedic Surgeon (Total Joint) – Washington, D.C.

The MedStar Orthopaedic Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, located in Washington, D.C., is currently seeking a board-certified/board-eligible, fellowship-trained Arthroplasty Surgeon to join our practice.

Come join our expanding, multi-specialty practice with nine other fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeons, dedicated advanced practice provider support, and in-house resident coverage 24 hours a day. This position will be based out of our busy practice at MedStar Washington Hospital Center but will allow opportunity to have additional time at our offices located throughout the Washington, D.C., region. MedStar Washington Hospital Center is the largest academic Level 1 trauma center in Washington, D.C., and is part of the MedStar Health Network, the largest health system in the mid-Atlantic region. This position will work with both medical students and residents, and candidate will be eligible for an academic appointment at Georgetown University School of Medicine.

The compensation package is competitive with an initial income guarantee and opportunity to earn additional call pay, quality bonus, and RVU incentive.
