Orthopedic Spine Surgery Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Opportunity Supporting Dr. Dean at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital Center

We are looking for a physician assistant or a nurse practitioner (FNP or ACNP) to join our Orthopedic Surgery team at our MedStar Union Memorial Hospital location in Baltimore, MD. MedStar Union Memorial Hospital has a long history of providing nationally recognized care to patients with muscle and bone pain and injuries, in association with the MedStar Orthopaedic Institute.
This provider would be supporting Dr. Clayton Dean in the clinic and the OR. There would be travel to other locations within the week based on Dr. Dean's schedule. This would include Bel Air and Westminster, MD.
Clayton L. Dean, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon at the MedStar Union Memorial Hospital Spine Center. Dr. Dean is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has more than 12 years of surgical experience. He is consistently named one of Baltimore's "Top Doctors" by Baltimore Magazine, a distinction voted on by his peers.
The schedule would be Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week depending on clinic/OR time. No call or weekends.
The ideal candidate will have ortho experience.
- Graduate from an accredited physician assistant program.
- Orthopedics experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
