We are looking for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our Vascular Surgery team at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. We are the largest and most experienced vascular disease program in the area.
This role will have outpatient responsibilities, including PermCath removal, sclerotherapy, and other venous procedures. The advanced provider provider in this role will have the opportunity for independence in the APP clinic.
This is a full-time position and the schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The ideal candidate will have experience in vascular surgery or a surgical setting, but new grads are welcome to apply!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education/Training: Master's or higher. Graduate from an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program with appropriate state licensure.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current nurse practitioner or physician assistant license and CDS in Maryland, current DEA registry, and BLS certification.
- Experience: At least one year of experience, preferably in cardiology.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
