Position Summary:
Position includes faculty appointment at Georgetown University commensurate with experience, opportunity for teaching and research, competitive compensation, and a generous benefits package.
Qualified candidates must hold a MD/DO degree and be board-certified/board-eligible in pediatrics. Candidate must be able to obtain medical licensure in Washington, D.C., and possess demonstrated clinical expertise in providing top-quality, family-centered health care to pediatric patients in the ambulatory and inpatient settings. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals to advance clinical programs are essential.
The ideal candidate will hold current D.C. licensure/eligibility and be BC/BE in pediatrics. Recent pediatric hospitalist experience and skills in neonatal resuscitation following the current NRP guidelines, including intubation and line placement, management of general pediatric disorders, and stabilization prior to transport are required. Excellent communication skills and an ability to work with a wide array of professionals are essential.
