MedStar Medical Group is recruiting for a Physician Executive Director and Chair, Department of Dermatology. This is an exciting opportunity for a physician leader to shape the professional practice and model of care of Dermatology in a vibrant metropolitan region and innovative healthcare system.

This physician leader will also serve as the Chair, Department of Dermatology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and oversee the clinical, administrative, and educational components of Dermatology at multiple sites, including the flagship hospital and the primary site of the established MedStar Georgetown University Hospital/MedStar Washington Hospital Center Dermatology and Medicine/Dermatology residency programs with 16 residents. The Chair will also collaborate with the MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute and the NCI-designated Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center for cutaneous cancer evaluation, treatment, and research.

Additionally, appointment as the Academic Chair, Dermatology at Georgetown University School of Medicine (GUSOM) will be part of the role. This position will oversee the clinical, administrative, and research activities of the specialty at the Georgetown University School of Medicine.
