Telemedicine Hybrid Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant in Ortho / Urgent Care with MedStar
We are looking for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our Orthopaedic team as a hybrid telehealth provider for our urgent care locations. This provider will work primarily remotely but occasionally will need to provide additional coverage in a MedStar facility.
As part of the MedStar Urgent Care Health System, we strive to offer patients personalized care in our community-based offices, as well as access to the latest medical advances and treatments available throughout our system. Our providers have on-site access to pediatric, emergency medicine and cardiologist teleconsultant providers, so they are always supported. We want to expand that to include an experienced orthopaedic provider to further support our urgent care.
From diagnosis to treatment and a return to activities, our specialists at the MedStar Orthopaedic Institute support patients every step of the way. We are dedicated to treating injuries and conditions from the simple to the complex in patients ranging from professional athletes to people of all ages.
This candidate will need to be experienced and be able to handle consulting cases independently. They will diagnose a wide range of orthopaedic injuries, including sports medicine and muscular skeletal injuries.
This role requires the provider to work rotating weekends and during peak times of urgent care.
Maryland, D.C. and VA licenses are required.
As a MedStar Medical Group clinician, you can expect:
- A competitive salary
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Paid malpractice insurance
- Generous paid time off
