Position Summary:

MedStar Urgent Care is currently recruiting for PRN (as-needed) Family Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to provide walk-in, extended-hour medical care at our urgent care centers. The ideal candidates should have urgent care experience as an FNP/PA and be comfortable with acute procedures. Our Urgent Care Centers are open 12 hours per day, 365 days/year.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience working in urgent care or emergency medicine and be proficient with the following skills/procedures: suturing, reading wet x-rays, interpreting EKGs, and fracture care/splinting. The provider should also have an active license (or ability to obtain a license) in Maryland and feel comfortable working as a solo provider at times in a busy urgent care setting.
